Fast turn-around

We are delighted that Mitchells and Butlers chose Reputation Selling to produce a video for their company intranet. The exciting aspect of this project was the time we had to produce it - filming and editing day 1 with amendments and uploading to YouTube on the morning of Day 2.

Why the video?

The purpose of the video was to feature Executive Chairman Bob Ivell giving a Christmas message to around 40,000 employees. It was a last minute decision by their communications team to produce a video instead of the traditional written email. This was a good decision as the video conveyed much more heart and personality than the written word.

Filming

On the filming day we were pleased to film in The Shakespeare pub, which is close to their head office. The team and their guests were most helpful in making the session work really well. We used our HD camera with four lights to capture the pub atmosphere.

We had produced a video case study for them previously and that meant that we were well known to them and they trusted us to produce this high quality online video featuring one of their most senior executives.
